Respect: Eliminating Harassment In The Workplace
Dakota Communities' training is designed for employers and employees in the direct care industry. Because direct care specialists support people on a more personal level, it is important to appreciate and recognize the differences in the way our behavior may be perceived by others. Dakota Communities training offers a guideline of appropriate behavior for those people working in the direct care field.
Respect: Eliminating Harassment in the Workplace is a two-hour training covering harassment situations in the following areas:

  • Sexual Harassment:
    • between an employer and an employee
    • between co-workers
    • when a third party is present
  • Ageism
  • Race
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Inappropriate Humor
  • Electronic Communication
  • Gossip
  • Personal Value System

What is Included?

When you order Respect: Eliminating Harassment in the Workplace you will receive:

  • One copy of the training video Respect: Eliminating Harassment in the Workplace. This video is 23 minutes long and provides realistic scenarios depicting types of harassment behavior that may be perceived while giving direct care.
  • One copy of the Respect: Eliminating Harassment in the Workplace Instructor's Guide. This guide provides points to consider for discussion that analyze the conduct presented in the video Respect: Eliminating Harassment in the Workplace.
