Supported Employment Services

Dakota Communities, a non-profit organization, offers individualized Supported Employment Services to assist people in seeking and maintaining paid employment in the community. We offer on-going training and support while being a paid employee at an existing business - providing the opportunity for people with disabilities to succeed at work with people of all abilities.

Employment Alternative Services

Dakota Communities participates in an exciting, innovative program combining Supportted Employment Services with Personal Supports - assisting people to build skills in home care, recreation, community involvement, social and self care in addition to their employment skills

• Creating resumes and cover letters
• Coaching in interviewing skills
• Targeting those companies for your preferred employment

GREAT SUPPORT
Providing on-going support with experienced staff to:

• Developing a support plan
• Working with-in defined schedules
• On-going coaching for job skills 
• On-going coaching for social skills
• On-going coaching for transportation alternatives
